How many millionaires are there in the world? The number of people in the world who have net assets of over $1 million is approx 25 million.
Which country has the most millionaires? The U.S. has the most millionaire households with 4,715,000. Japan is 2nd with 1,230,000 households, followed by China 670,000, the UK 485,000 and Germany 430,000.
How do I become a millionaire? That's the question everybody wants to know the answer to. So how? There are a few different ways people can become millionaires:
1. Hard work and determination. This is the most common answer from the mega rich millionaires and billionaires out there. The majority of them have worked extremely hard to build up a business, or design a product that has made them their fortune.
2. Inheritance. A lot of millionaires have inherited their fortune from their parents. Or they come from a wealthy family that has helped them set up their own business which has eventually made them their own million dollar empire.
3. The Lottery. The many country and state lotteries make a lot of millionaires every year. The people that win the lottery are a lucky bunch of people, as the odds on winning the lottery are stacked against them. For example, the odds on winning the U.S. Powerball jackpot is 1 in 175 million. Or the EuroMillions lottery odds are 1 in 116 million. But that doesn't mean that you can't win, people win the lottery every day. So who knows, this week, it could be you, but I hope its me!
